I love how specific this collection of verses is... God wants us to take care of our relationships. He knows that people bring us joy and love and make life worth living! Too often. I think people devalue each other or take advantage of people because they are relying on making themselves feel right or justified. They want to have a good day so they tromp on others.
God suggests a higher way: lift up people. The act of lifting up people and taking care of our relationships will make our lives better.
