every season comes to an end

We finally have a new dishwasher.

Yeah, it took three days, but we finally have one. It looked for a second like we wouldn't... Our new one has the start button on the handle and you have to open the handle to have anything happen. Erik didn't know that, so he tried to start it while the door was shut, and it didn't work and I think both of us were quite overwhelmed... then he tried switching something with the connection and we figured it out.

I ran three loads of dishes yesterday and I have at least two more to catch up on! The dishes feel so clean!! Makes me wonder why we didn't get a new dishwasher much earlier!!

It's a great reminder that every season will come to an end. Sometimes the seasons feel endless, but they will end. Endurance and perseverance and staying close to God is key.

I try to remember this all the time with kiddos as well. The seasons with them go fairly fast (although the days are long!), so I try to soak up the goodness, get through the sleepless nights and other exhausting elements, and love on them and enjoy the ride. Each season will have something to love and something to worry over... but each season will eventually end. That's good! Each season should bring growth and beautiful things.

"So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing." -James 1:4
